Stop stage fear from damaging your reputation

Every time you walk out of a presentation knowing you didn't show up well, your reputation pays the price.

Not because you lack ability. Not because you don't know your subject. But because nobody taught you how to channel everything you know into a room full of people who need to trust you first.

You feel fine before you speak. But the moment you start, your voice shakes, your heart races, and control slips away. And afterward, you can't stop replaying it and thinking about how it sounded, how it looked, and what people must be thinking.

Your credibility and your growth ride on how you show up when you speak. And right now, that feels like the most exposed place in your business.

The Ultimate Public Speaking Survival Guide was written for this exact moment.

Not to turn you into a performer. Not to change your personality. But to make sure that the next time you walk into a room — every meeting, every presentation, every high-stakes conversation — your voice protects your reputation instead of putting it at risk.

What makes this book different?

Unlike dense speaking manuals, this book treats speaking as a learnable skill, and not a personality trait.

The whole book is designed from your perspective, the reader's perspective.

Built around 37 real questions that business owners & professionals actually struggle with, this book mirrors your internal dialogue — moving you from self-doubt to clarity, one concern at a time.

This book is a result of countless hours of direct in-the-trenches experience, expert research, and speakers' feedback.

Inside, you'll learn how to:

  • Calm fear without fighting it — Anxiety isn't a flaw. It's a starting point. Learn to speak with confidence even if you're shy, introverted, or a non-native speaker.

  • Structure speeches that command attention — Break any presentation into clear openings, transitions, key points, and closings. Confidence follows structure, not instinct.

  • Engage without performing — Use body language, vocal variety, and pauses that build connection, not showmanship.

  • Handle high-stakes moments — Manage Q&A sessions, recover from mistakes, and keep going, even when things don't go as planned.

  • Speak with authority people trust — Master the communication techniques that make others listen, respect your voice, and remember what you said.

Meet the Author

Hi, I’m Ramakrishna Reddy—technology manager, author, coach, and someone who once couldn’t even ask a girl out on a date!

Back in third grade, I went on stage for my first speech contest. I memorized the lines and started the speech. When I looked at the audience, I blanked out. On top of that, I said some really bad words at myself, which got amplified in the microphone. That experience always bothered me.

Years later, only after I entered the professional world, did I realize the importance of communication and public speaking.

I joined Toastmasters and started competing in professional speech contests. Of course, I lost a lot of them!

I went through all the tough experiences you might be going through now. Stage fear, fear of judgment, fear of failure, fear of mistakes, fear of forgetting, shaky hands and legs, going blank, forgetting lines, nervousness, anxiety, hesitation to speak, low confidence in standing before the audience, choosing topic, writing a speech, structuring, starting a speech, ending a speech, making a speech interesting, adding humor, lack of storytelling skills, audience engagement, vocabulary issues, speaking fast, pacing, body language issues, and I can go on and on. You name it, I've gone through it.

Then I met my mentor, Jerry Ayyathurai, in Connecticut, USA, who changed the way I approached public speaking. Slowly and steadily, I went on to win over 25 speech contests, reaching the top 3 at the district level in both the U.S. and India.

Even more importantly, I got the confidence to ask a girl out, who eventually became my girlfriend. Now I’m married (same girl!), and we have a son. I started behaving more confidently in my professional career, that lead to new opportunities.

I realized that the transformation was much bigger than public speaking. It was communication intelligence. And thus, I began my journey by writing books and coaching to help others gain communication intelligence.

Today, after writing over several books (Toastmaster's Secret, Connect Using Humor and Story, Public Speaking Essentials, Public Speaking Topic Secrets, The Ultimate Public Speaking Survival Guide, Write Effective Emails at Work), a hundred thousand readers have used my books to speak with clarity, confidence, and impact.

And I still get excited every time a reader or a coaching client says:
“They asked me to speak again.”

When communication is simple to understand and easy to implement, anything becomes possible. That’s the spirit behind everything I create.

I'd encourage you to get this book and see the results that you'll love.
